Step 1 — Access the Amazon Prime Video App on Your TV
Turn on your Smart TV or streaming device that supports Amazon Prime Video.
Open the Prime Video app. If it is not installed, download it from your TV’s app store or the Amazon website
Step 2 — Start the Sign-In Process
In the Prime Video app, select “Sign in and start watching”.
You will be prompted to either sign in directly or get a registration code. For most modern TVs, choose “Register on the Amazon website.”
Step 3 — Get Your MyTV Code
A 5-character registration code or web code will display on your TV screen.
Keep this screen open while you complete the next step on your computer or mobile device.
Step 4 — Enter Your Code on Amazon.com
On a computer, tablet, or smartphone, go to www.amazon.com/mytv.
Sign in to your Amazon account if you are not already logged in.
Enter the 5-character code shown on your TV and click “Register”. You may need to confirm the device type or location.
Step 5 — Confirmation
Once the code is successfully entered, your TV will automatically refresh, and you will be logged into Prime Video.
You can now browse content and start streaming.
Alternative Methods
QR Code Login: Some Smart TVs provide a QR code on the sign-in screen. Use your mobile device to scan it and authorize your TV. This bypasses typing the code manually.
Direct Password Entry: Older TVs may allow you to sign in by directly entering your Amazon username and password instead of a web code .
Troubleshooting Tips
Ensure your TV is connected to the internet.
If the code expires (usually after 10 minutes), generate a new mytv code on your TV.
Check that you are entering the code exactly as displayed (case-sensitive).
Restart the Prime Video app or TV if the login fails, then repeat the steps
